About

I am a Registered Psychotherapist based in Ottawa, Canada. I offer a range of psychotherapy services from my offices in Manotick and Barrhaven, and online via Zoom video. I also operate an energy healing practice from my home studio. As a holistic psychotherapist, I assist my clients in healing their whole-selves, which means restoring health in mind, body, emotion, energy, relationship, and spirit.

I work with youth, adults, couples, parents, and families. I have a strong interest and expertise in the treatment of eating disorders across the lifespan. I am an active and published researcher in the field of the indigenous Amazonian plant medicine, Ayahuasca, as a complement or alternative to conventional mental health treatment.

Modern research is linking present-day psycho-emotional suffering to early life trauma. When working with clients, I apply this research along with the theories and frameworks of Depth Psychology, Hakomi (a mindfulness-based somatic therapy), Dr. Gabor Maté's Compassionate Inquiry approach, and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT). As a Registered Yoga Teacher, I incorporate mindfulness, breath work, and somatic practices into my work with clients.
